Samsung recently launched the Galaxy M14 5G, a new budget smartphone in India that will be available for purchase through Amazon from April 21. Though it is a successor to the Galaxy M13, it seems to be a smaller upgrade with the same features. The Galaxy M14 has already been launched in the European market and is now available in India. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant starts at Rs 13,490, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant starts at Rs 15,490. A savings account is included in the price, but the company did not disclose valid savings accounts.
The Galaxy M14 5G features a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz screen refresh rate. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for expandable storage. It runs on Android 13 out of the box.
For photography, the phone has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, and a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front with two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and intensive shots There is one that can record video up to 1080p resolution.
The device has a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging technology, which is an improvement over the 15W tech offered by Samsung’s budget smartphones but there is no charger in the retail box, which may be disappointing for some customers. The phone comes in Silver, Blue and Dark Blue color options.
